Whether you’re in the business of printing greeting cards, gift card holders, or table tents, die-cut and foil stamping can make your project stand out from the competition. Not only does it add a sense of sophistication to your project, it’s also a great way to get a tactile feel for your product.

Die-cutting is the process of punching out a shape from stock using a specially designed die. Usually, most printers subcontract the job to a die-making firm.

Foil stamping is a similar process. The most popular foil color is gold, but there are many other shades to choose from. Depending on the project, foil stamping can be done on both the front and back of a product.

There’s a reason that the die-cut and foil stamping process is so popular. Not only is it a time saver, but it’s also a great way to add a touch of class to your project.

Getting your books bound is a great way to make your books look professional and stylish. There are a few different types of binding to choose from, and each has its own benefits and disadvantages.

Saddle stitching is a type of binding that is ideal for catalogs and program books. It also helps pages stay flat when they are open.

Wire-O is another type of flat book binding. This type of binding is less common. This type of binding is made with a wire coil that is much thicker than the plastic coils. This type of binding is a bit more expensive than saddle stitching. However, it is also more durable.

Perfect binding is another type of book binding. This type of binding is used when you have a lot of pages to bind together. Perfect binding uses two different types of glue to bond the sheets together.

Throughout his lifetime, Richard Overton was one of the oldest living Americans to fight in World War II. After a battle with pneumonia in his home, Overton passed away at the age of 109 in December 2013.

After the war, Overton lived in Austin, Texas. He built a one-bedroom home in East Austin in 1948, where he lived for decades. Overton was a veteran of the 1887th Engineer Aviation Battalion, an all-black unit that served in the Pacific Theater of Operations from 1942 to 1945. His unit was stationed in Peleliu, Micronesia, Angaur, Palau, and Iwo Jima. He left the Army in October 1945.

After his service, Overton was laid to rest at the Texas State Cemetery. Former President Barack Obama honored Overton on Veterans Day 2013. The oldest living World War II veteran, Overton would have celebrated his 114th birthday in 2020.
